| CERAGEM, Selected as Outsting Company from China CSR Evaluation
CERAGEM was selected as an outsting company by obtaining the “AA” rating from the China CSR Evaluation. This evaluation was conducted by the CSR evaluation committee of Industry evaluation Association of Develpment Research Center of the State Council for 4 months with the criteria of environment-friendly management, righteous management contribution to society. CERAGEM was evaluated highly for taking initiatives examples in the aspects of new technology, social contribution customer interest.
CERAGEM is actively engaged in philanthropy projects in the field of education, medical aid relief operations. CERAGEM established 6Hope Schools volunteered in China’s national relief operations when there was a big earthquake in Sichuan（2008）, drought damage in Southwest area （2010） flood in Jilin （2010）.
In addition, CERAGEM participate in various corporate philanthropy activities such as support for improvement in national sports, academic research, arts, environment improvement, so on. CERAGEM’s corporate social responsibility activities are contributing greatly to promoting the company br image as well as Korea’s image as a nation in a very friendly positive way.
CERAGEM won the top award in recognition of its effort to fulfill CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) at ‘Annual Health Awards of China’ ceremony in 2012. CERAGEM was the first foreign-funded company received that award. The ‘Annual Health Awards of China’ is the most prestigious award ceremony in the healthcare field in China.
CERAGEM officials said, ”As a global company, CERAGEM tries to approach each foreign country local communities sincerely for mutual benefit. That principal made CERAGEM st as a favorable foreign company in China as well. Recently Chinese consumers are showing attentions to foreign company’s social responsibility ethics. As the corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities such as donation, charity is becoming the evaluation criteria for a good company, Korean companies’ CSR activities are getting more dynamic.
SAMSUNG was selected as a No. 1 foreign company for CSR activities two years in a row. Many Korean companies show good CSR result. LG Electronics POSCO are ranked high as well. These kinds of activities are expected to draw an attention from the customers as well as play a big role in corporate marketing through publicity on the local media.
