■ In commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the Korean War, global healthcare specialist CERAGEM launched a global gratitude campaign by donating medical equipment to international veterans and countries.
■ With markets in 15 out of the 21 UN-supported nations, CERAGEM contributes 450 units of medical equipment worth KRW 1 million to veterans and local social welfare organizations.
■ On June 25, CERAGEM expects to donate more products at the “6/25 War Veterans Gratitude Event” to be hosted by the local Korean consulate in Turkey together with the US on September 30.

Healthcare specialist CERAGEM operates a total of 3,000 subsidiaries in 70 countries. CEO Kang Shin-jang revealed that the company would hold a gratitude campaign for international veterans to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Korean War.

This global campaign seeks to convey gratitude to the UN countries and veterans. Having overseas markets in 15 countries including the US, Turkey, South Africa, and Colombia from among the 21 UN nations, CERAGEM holds this global social event as an act of private diplomacy.

Through this campaign, CERAGEM will donate approximately 450 units of medical equipment (personal heaters) worth KRW 1 million to local veterans’ societies and social welfare organizations.

CERAGEM asked its 450 overseas subsidiaries to choose directly the subjects of donations to make sure they reach places in most need and enable ease of follow-up management. After its donation to social welfare organizations, the donor has initiated support for social activities along with each branch’s staff and volunteering customers.

Apart from this campaign, CERAGEM will donate products in support of the “Korean War Veterans Gratitude Day” in Turkey on September 30 to be hosted by the Korean consulate in Turkey in cooperation with the US.

According to CERAGEM CEO Kang Shin-jang, CERAGEM, despite being a mere medium-sized company, actively works mainly in overseas markets. “Personally, as a believer in private-level diplomacy, I have always had an interest in global contribution for social volunteering. Therefore, for the forthcoming 60th anniversary of the Korean War, we decided to organize a global campaign to convey our humble gratitude to the participating countries. CERAGEM will sustain its consistent interest and participation in socially beneficial activities and hopefully help enhance the global status of Korea,” he said.
